How do you update your brand online when your service is completely offline?
Up Cycles was Cape Town’s first drop-and-go bike rental company. We got the chance to update their site recently, which was very exciting considering their original site was one of the first ones we ever built almost a decade ago!
Up Cycles offers exciting new ways for adventure lovers to experience and explore Cape Town.
Up Cycles’ service is completely based in person – all bike rentals are done at the three rental stations situated across Cape Town, including all transactions. What we focused on with this update, in collaboration with the team’s designer, was modernising the site and its features, while ensuring that all the information you need to get started with Up Cycles is still laid out clearly. Everything from where you can pick up your bike to how you can pay, bike riding rules and guidelines, pricing options and more are all easily available for the prospective rider.
Up Cycles have been Pomegranite clients since the early days and has recently changed ownership. It’s been such a privilege to be able to work with the new Up Cycles team, and continue the site’s journey together.
