The challenge
The Hailemariam & Roman Foundation (HRF) recently underwent a rebranding and required a new website to reflect this updated look, as well as the new programmes they manage. As an international NGO, it was also very important to them to represent their impact in a clear and digestible way, to inform their audience and aid in securing further funding.

Our approach
Pomegranite focused on three main areas for this build:

  • Showcasing impact: Each project was accompanied by concise impact data and a mapped view of its geographic focus.
  • Promotion of partners: These are featured prominently in the footer of the website, so they’re displayed on each page, and are linked to the relevant website.
  • Distinguished members: The well-respected members of the HRF are featured in quotes, images and on the Board page of the site, highlighting their role in driving the organisation’s work and impact.

Key results
Within the first three weeks of the new website launching we saw:

  • A 162% increase in total users from across the globe
  • 7810 events logged by users, showing many interactions with the site
  • A 4250% increase to About page visits, showing elevated interest in the organisation.

Our impact
The new website reflects HRF’s vision in many ways, and now ensures that the organisation’s impact is highlighted effectively, which is important for future funding and reach. The website is also optimised to house HRF’s latest news and resources in a user-friendly, accessible way.
