Personally, mademarian.co.za is my favourite site to date. Since the initial build, we have updated the site and added e-commerce functionality:

The best part of having Made Marian as a client is when she sends through new cards, paintings and prints to add to the website. Her fine attention to detail brings the fauna and flora (her subjects) on my screen to life.

If you’re looking for a great gift idea, a browse through her site would be very fruitful! Apart from buying art cards or limited edition prints, you can also commission your own painting.

Apart from displaying and selling beautiful art and cards, the Made Marian site also hosts a DogBlog. These posts are written from the perspective of Bonnie – Marian’s lively barking beagle. The stories delve into the everyday joys of Bonnie and Baxter (Bonnie’s dim-witted brother) and their adventures in the sleepy town of Stanford.
