Our last newsletter sparked an outpouring

Whenever I sit down to write an end-of-year mailer, there’s a thought that always lingers at the back of my mind, skulking in the shadows, whispering: “Is anyone actually going to read this?”
I usually answer it with: “Probably not… and you know what? Fair enough!” By the beginning of December, everyone is so ready for the downward slope to the holidays they can practically taste the crisp fizz of that first sip of bubbles at the year-end function.
This does not usually fan the flames of my inspiration when writing this newsletter, but this year was different. I’d just read a book I could not stop thinking about, and once I joined the dots of how to connect it to what I wanted to say – including a fun little hidden surprise – the mailer wrote itself.
The fun little surprise for us was the response we got, mostly of this flavour:
“This has to be the best well wishes email I have ever received!”
I was blown away with each new email and WhatsApp. Not just because people thought it was fun, or that it made them laugh out loud, or that they thought it was clever. But rather, because something about the sentiment in the mailer prompted people to say the loveliest things about working with Pomegranite.
Do you get better emails than this? I don’t think so…

We are so intentional about the kind of relationships – the kind of partnerships – that we build with our wonderful clients, and to see it reflected back like this means the absolute world.
